There is a simple way that you can make a great impact in someone’s life…

Hello again! Christmas is coming up soon and by soon I mean 78 days to be exact. As you know we are participating in Operation Christmas Child (a project from Samaritans Purse, President Franklin Graham) this year and preparations are already underway. We have empty shoe boxes that are ready to be lovingly filled with gifts and the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ. I would love everyone to be involved and there are several ways to do so:

  1. A donation of $7 or more for each shoebox we prepare to help cover shipping and other project costs.
  2. Bring in gifts to fill the boxes such as school supplies, toys, hygiene items, etc. You may personalize the box by adding a note or photo as well. There is a list of suggested items at the end of this email. Please drop off the items in the designated box found in the church foyer near the parking lot.
  3. Join our Packing Party on Friday, November 1st at 7:00 PM in the church. If you can’t make it or would like to pack a box at your own convenience I can give you a shoebox to return by Sunday, November 3rd.
  4. Pray for the shoeboxes, the children it will be sent to around the world and for all the volunteers making this project possible.
